I have been really shocked when I learned that our Water Bill in Waterzone Purified Water Refilling Station in Manila is Php44,000 when the usual bill is only 6,000-7,000 a month. How I wish sales on our waterstation had really surged to that height.
When my Mama complained about it, a Maynilad employee told her that the meter has to be tested at Balara office, if there’s no meter defect we have to pay the whole amount. Why should we pay for that when we really know that we have not consumed that super great amount of water in just a month? How could our water bill increased to 7 times when our electric bill didn’t? The employee handling our complain has no idea how much water Php44,000 could be. Is this a new modus operandi? Who could really be of help? Who would really investigate this issue without asking for money in return?
